麻布台ヒルズガーデンプラザB棟にベンチャーキャピタルのメッカを作るプロジェクト。総勢70社が集う会員制コワーキングラウンジを計画することとなった。WATARU ARCHITECTSでは、このラウンジのインテリアデザインおよびガーデンプラザB棟のテナント区画ビル仕様のデザイン監修を手掛けた。ベンチャーキャピタリストが集うハレの社交場であり、アジトとなるようにNEST（巣）をコンセプトとして用いた。またこの建物は建築家ヘザウィック氏が日本で初めて手掛ける建築である。そのため、建築のユニークさが出るサッシュのピッチをインテリアに持ち込み、直線に角度をつけることで3次元の形状を建物内に呼び込んだ。
全体がつながりながらフレキシブルに空間を組み替えて活用できるようにガラス間仕切りで部屋間を区切り、セミナー・パーティー・コワーキングなど自由に組み替えられる設えとした。NESTのコンセプトのもと、ラウンジにＶＣ、ＣＶＣ、スタートアップ、海外投資家が集まり日本初のベンチャーキャピタルの集積地が誕生した。

A project to create a mecca for venture capitalists in Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza Building B. WATARU ARCHITECTS designed the interior design of the lounge and supervised the supecification of the tenant section of Garden Plaza B. The concept of “nest” is used to create a social gathering place for venture capitalists to meet and a place to hide out. The building is the first of its kind to be designed by architect Hetherwick in Japan. Therefore, the pitch of the sashes, which gives the building its uniqueness, is brought into the interior, and by angling the straight lines, a three-dimensional shape is brought into the building. Glass partitions separate the rooms so that the entire space can be flexibly reconfigured for seminars, parties, coworking, and other activities.
